Text

In case of an accident to a ventilating fan, or its machinery, whereby the ventilation of the mine may be seriously interrupted, the electric power shall be shut off. The mine foreman shall order the men to withdraw from the mine immediately, and he shall not allow them to return to their work until the ventilation has been restored and the mine has been thoroughly examined by him, or by a foreman or fire boss, and reported safe. No person shall refuse or neglect to comply with this section.
