The superintendent in charge of a mine shall direct the mine foreperson in such manner as is necessary to secure compliance with this chapter and Chapters 1561., 1563., and 1567. and section1509.18of the Revised Code. The superintendent may act as mine foreperson, but if the superintendent does so act regularly, the superintendent shall obtain a certificate from the chief of the division of mineral resources management in the same manner as the certification of mine foreperson is obtained.
