(A)The superintendent of financial institutions shall see that the laws and rules relating to institutions and businesses governed by Chapters 1101. to 1127. of the Revised Code are executed and enforced.
(B)The deputy superintendent for banks shall be the principal supervisor of state banks and trust companies. In that position the deputy superintendent for banks shall, notwithstanding sections1121.10and1121.11of the Revised Code, be responsible for conducting examinations and preparing examination reports under those sections. In addition, the deputy superintendent for banks shall, notwithstanding division (A) of section1121.03and sections1121.05and1121.06of the Revised Code, have the authority to adopt rules and standards in accordance with those sections.
