§ 237. Reimbursement for advance payments by employers. If an employer\nhas made advance payments of benefits or has made payments to an\nemployee in like manner as wages during any period of disability or\nfamily leave for which such employee is entitled to the benefits\nprovided by this article, he or she shall be entitled to be reimbursed\nby the carrier out of any benefits due or to become due for the existing\ndisability or family leave, if the claim for reimbursement is filed with\nthe carrier prior to payment of the benefits by the carrier.\n
