§ 22-2210 Establishment of joint fire districts. The town board of a\ntown or the town boards of more than one town, and the board of trustees\nof an incorporated village or the boards of trustees of more than one\nincorporated village located in said town or towns are hereby authorized\nto establish and/or extend in such town or towns and village or villages\na joint fire district for the purposes stated and in the manner provided\nin article eleven-A of the town law, provided all of the territory in\nsuch joint fire district shall be contiguous.\n
