§ 2-228 Stay of further proceedings. The institution of a proceeding\nunder section 2-224 of this article shall serve to stay all further\nproceedings in connection with the proposed incorporation of such\nterritory until the final determination thereof and the expiration of\nthe time within which to take an appeal with no appeal having been\ntaken.\n
