§ 11-1122 Outside extension of mains. The board of trustees may, by\nresolution, determine to extend water mains outside the village. Such\nresolution shall contain a general description of the proposed extension\nand the estimated expense thereof and the amount thereof, if any, to be\nexpended by the village. If the resolution be adopted, the board of\nwater commissioners shall make the extension accordingly. If such\nextension is made, the board of water commissioners shall adopt rules,\nregulations and rates to apply to all consumers outside of the village.\n
