§ 6. Volunteer ambulance workers' benefits; general. If a volunteer\nambulance worker dies from the effects of injury in the line of duty, or\nif such an ambulance worker shall be injured in line of duty, benefits\nshall be paid and provided pursuant to this chapter, except that there\nshall be no liability for such benefits when the injury has been solely\noccasioned by intoxication of the volunteer ambulance worker while\nacting in line of duty or by the wilful intention of the volunteer\nambulance worker to bring about the injury or death of himself or\nanother.\n
