§ 404-W*2 — Distinctive plates for Persian Gulf veterans

* § 404-w. Distinctive plates for Persian Gulf veterans.

1.Any\nPersian Gulf veteran or the spouse of any such veteran shall, upon\nrequest, be issued a license plate bearing the words "Persian Gulf\nVeteran". If a distinctive plate is issued to a veteran pursuant to this\nsection, such a distinctive plate shall not be issued to the spouse of\nsuch veteran. Application for said license plate shall be filed with\nthe commissioner in such form and detail as the commissioner shall\nprescribe.\n 2. The distinctive plate authorized in subdivision one of this section\nshall be issued upon proof, satisfactory to the commissioner, that the\napplicant or the spouse of the applicant is a Persian Gulf veteran.\n 3. For the purposes of this section, "Persian Gulf veteran" shall mean\na person wh
