§ 398-k. Improper display of signs.

1.The holder of a repair shop\nregistration shall remove or cause to be removed any sign which contains\nthe registration number of the station which is visible to the public\nand which is required to be displayed by this article or regulations\npromulgated thereunder if the registration is revoked or suspended or\nthe repair shop is out of business. If the registration is only\nsuspended, the holder may cover up the sign instead of removing it.\n 2. No person shall permit the display of any sign required to be\ndisplayed by this article or regulations promulgated thereunder\nindicating to the public that an official repair shop is operating\nunless a repair shop registration has been issued to that person and is\ncurrently valid.\n
