§ 2286. Licensing by municipalities. No municipality shall require\nlicensing or registration of ATVs which are covered by the provisions of\nthis article. Nothing herein shall prohibit the requirement of a permit\nby the agency or municipality having jurisdiction over any state or\nlocal park or any other public lands for use of ATVs on such public\nlands. A municipality may charge a fee for use of ATVs on such public\nlands.\n
