§ 2203. Cases carried over.\n All actions and proceedings pending in any court to which this act\napplies, at the time this act takes effect, shall remain in the court\nand shall be governed by the following subdivisions of this section.\n (a) No such action or proceeding, or appeal taken therein, shall abate\nby virtue of the application of this act to the court.\n (b) For the purpose of the disposition of such pending action or\nproceeding only, the jurisdiction of the court shall be deemed expanded\nto that of the court under provisions applicable prior to the effective\ndate of this act whenever necessary to sustain the jurisdiction of the\ncourt over such action or proceeding if the court had jurisdiction of\nthe same under such provisions.\n (c) Except as provided for in the fore
