§ 262-a. Town of Lansing; division of certain parts thereof. For any\nand all of the purposes set forth in article sixteen of the town law,\nthe town board of the town of Lansing may divide all or part of that\nportion of the town which is outside the limits of any incorporated\nvillage or city into districts of such number, shape and area as may be\ndeemed best suited to carry out the purposes of this section; including\nconstruction, reconstruction, alteration or use of buildings, structures\nor land. All such regulations adopted by the town board shall be uniform\nfor each class or kind of buildings, throughout such district; but the\nregulations in one district may differ from those in other districts.\n
