§ 270 — Transfer of appropriations heretofore made to department of public works

§ 270. Transfer of appropriations heretofore made to department of\npublic works. All appropriations or reappropriations for the functions\nherein transferred heretofore made to the department of public works, or\nsegregated pursuant to law, to the extent of remaining unexpended or\nunencumbered balances thereof, whether allocated or unallocated and\nwhether obligated or unobligated, are hereby transferred to and made\navailable for use and expenditure by the department of transportation\nfor the same purposes for which originally appropriated or\nreappropriated and shall be payable on vouchers certified or approved by\nthe commissioner of transportation on audit and warrant of the\ncomptroller. Payments for liabilities for expenses of personal service,\nmaintenance and operation heretofore incurred by the department of\npublic works in connection with the functions herein transferred, and\nfor liabilities incurred and to be incurred in completing its affairs in\nrelation to the functions transferred herein, shall also be made on\nvouchers or certificates approved by the commissioner of transportation\non audit and warrant of the comptroller.\n
