§ 98-c. Legal services assistance fund.

1.There is hereby established\nin the joint custody of the state comptroller and the commissioner of\nthe department of taxation and finance a fund to be known as the legal\nservices assistance fund.\n 2. Such fund shall consist of all moneys appropriated for the purpose\nof such fund, all other moneys required to be paid into or credited to\nsuch fund, and all moneys received by such fund or donated to it.\n 3. Moneys of the legal services assistance fund shall be solely\navailable, following appropriation by the legislature and in accordance\nwith law to assist in the provision of and the reimbursement of expenses\nincurred by local government agencies and not for profit providers or\ntheir employees relating to providing criminal or civil leg
