§ 472-l. Transfer of certain children by agencies. The corporate\nauthorities of any agency now or hereafter having the lawful custody and\ncare of any child not less than six years of age, and not awaiting trial\nnor under sentence for a term of years for crime, may, with the consent\nof said corporation, transfer and assign such custody and care to this\ncorporation upon such terms as the directors of such institution and\nsaid corporation may agree.\n
