§ 2804. Effect of unconstitutionality in part\n If any clause, sentence, paragraph, subdivision, section or part of\nthis chapter shall be adjudged by any court of competent jurisdiction to\nbe invalid, such judgment, decree or order shall not affect, impair or\ninvalidate the remainder thereof but shall be confined in its operation\nto the clause, sentence, paragraph, subdivision, section or part thereof\ndirectly involved in the controversy in which such judgment, decree or\norder shall have been rendered.\n
