§ 605-e. Accidental disability retirement for ambulance medical\ntechnician supervisors, ambulance medical technician coordinators,\nambulance medical technicians, police medic supervisors, police medic\ncoordinators, and police medics in Nassau county.

a.A member employed\nas an ambulance medical technician supervisor, ambulance medical\ntechnician coordinator, ambulance medical technician, police medic\nsupervisor, police medic coordinator, or police medic in Nassau county\nshall be entitled to an accidental disability retirement allowance if,\nat the time application therefor is filed, such member is:\n 1. Physically or mentally incapacitated for performance of duty as the\nnatural and proximate result of an accident, unless the contrary be\nproved by competent evidence, not caused
