  § 315. State supervision. The police and fire retirement system\nestablished by this article shall be subject to the supervision of the\nsuperintendent of financial services. Such supervision shall be in\naccordance with the provisions of the insurance law to the extent that\nsuch provisions are applicable to the police and fire retirement system\nand are not inconsistent with the provisions of this article.\n
