§ 180. Construction.

a.An act of the legislature of the year\nnineteen hundred fifty-five or nineteen hundred fifty-six which, in\nform, amends or repeals or purports to amend or repeal any provision or\nprovisions of the supplemental pension act or of article four, five or\nsix of the civil service law, as in force immediately prior to July\nfirst, nineteen hundred fifty-six, shall be deemed and construed as an\namendment or repeal, as the case may be, of the corresponding provision\nor provisions of such act or law, as contained in this act.\n b. An act of the legislature of the year nineteen hundred fifty-five\nor nineteen hundred fifty-six which adds, or purports to add a new\nsection, subdivision or other provision of law to the supplemental\npension act or article four, five or
