§ 1205 — Recalculation of benefits
§ 1205. Recalculation of benefits. Notwithstanding any other provision\nof law, any member who has joined the retirement system pursuant to the\nprovisions of article fourteen of this chapter on or after July first,\ntwo thousand nine may elect to have his or her retirement benefits\ncalculated pursuant to this article by filing within one hundred twenty\ndays of the effective date of this section a request for such\ncalculation with the retirement system in the form and manner prescribed\nby the state comptroller.\n
