§ 102. Recovery of disability beneficiaries.

a.Once each year\nfollowing the retirement of a member on a disability allowance, the\ncomptroller may, and, upon the beneficiary's application, shall require\nsuch disability beneficiary to undergo a medical examination. Such\nexamination shall be made at the place of residence of such beneficiary,\nor at any other place mutually agreed upon by the comptroller and such\nbeneficiary. In the event that any such disability beneficiary shall\nrefuse to submit to a medical examination, the pension portion of his\nretirement allowance, including the\npension-providing-for-increased-take-home-pay, shall be discontinued\nuntil his withdrawal of such refusal.
