§ 53-f. Joint inspection of traffic-control signals interconnected\nwith highway-rail at-grade crossing warning systems.
1.Notwithstanding\nthe provisions of any other law to the contrary, the commissioner is\nauthorized to establish, implement, and exercise oversight over a\nprogram to coordinate the inspection of traffic-control signals\ninterconnected with highway-rail at-grade crossing warning systems.\n 2. Pursuant to the program established under subdivision one of this\nsection, the department of transportation shall establish a procedure\napplicable to every railroad corporation and each municipality having\njurisdiction of a highway on which there is an at-grade rail crossing\nwarning system interconnected with a traffic-control signal for the\ncoordinated operation and bienni
