§ 291-g. Recording insurance information. Every owner of a multiple\ndwelling, as defined in subdivision two of section two hundred\nthirty-nine-a of this chapter, which is located in a city with a\npopulation in excess of one million persons shall file with the\ndepartment of housing preservation and development an instrument\ncontaining the name or names of the insurer issuing a fire, casualty\nand/or liability insurance policy for the multiple dwelling, the address\nof the insurance company and the policy number.\n
