§ 422. Approval for incorporation. Any unincorporated church wishing\nto incorporate as an Assemblies of God church under this article shall\nfirst apply to the presbytery of the New York district of the Assemblies\nof God for written approval. Upon receipt of such approval, the applying\nchurch may become an incorporated church by executing, acknowledging and\nfiling a certificate of incorporation as hereinafter provided. There\nshall be attached to such certificate the written permission to\nincorporate by the New York district of the Assemblies of God, or their\nsuccessor.\n
