* § 136. Purpose. It is the purpose of this article to consolidate the\nenvironmental review, permitting, and siting in this state of major\nrenewable energy facilities and major electric transmission facilities\nsubject to this article, and to provide ORES as a single forum for the\ncoordinated and timely review of such projects to meet the state's\nrenewable energy goals and ensure the reliability of the electric\ntransmission system, while also ensuring the protection of the\nenvironment and consideration of all pertinent social, economic and\nenvironmental factors in the decision to permit such projects as more\nspecifically provided in this article.\n * NB Repealed December 31, 2040\n
