§ 905. Grants for primary care practitioner education.
1.The\ncommissioner in collaboration with the commissioner of education is\nauthorized, within amounts available pursuant to subdivision nineteen-a\nof section twenty-eight hundred seven-c of this chapter, to make grants\nto colleges, universities or hospital-based training programs within New\nYork state to establish or expand training programs for nurse\npractitioners, physician assistants or midwives, and to increase the\nopportunities for practitioner education in primary care at\ncommunity-based sites.\n 2.
