§ 4700. Statement of legislative findings and intent. The legislature\nhereby finds that the provision of health care in shared health care\nfacilities has become an important source of health services in this\nstate and that such facilities are important mechanisms for the delivery\nof health care services which have largely been created by the funding\nprovisions of the state program of medical assistance for needy persons.\nThe legislature also finds and declares that certain practices exist in\nthe medical assistance program which have resulted in abuses requiring\nthe regulation of shared health facilities.
