§ 3031 — Advanced life support system

§ 3031. Advanced life support system. Advanced life support system\nmust (1) be under the overall supervision and direction of a qualified\nphysician with respect to the advanced life support services provided,\n(2) be staffed by qualified medical and health personnel, (3) utilize\nadvanced emergency medical technicians whose certification is\nappropriate to the advanced life support services provided, (4) utilize\nadvanced support mobile units appropriate to the advanced life support\nservices provided, (5) maintain a treatment-management record for each\npatient receiving advanced life support services, and (6) be integrated\nwith a hospital emergency, intensive care, coronary care or other\nappropriate service.\n
