§ 2505-b. Lactation accommodations in airports.
1.The terminal\noperator of a commercial service airport owned or operated by a county,\ncity, town, village, or state or local authority that has one million or\nmore enplanements a year shall provide a room or other location at each\nairport passenger terminal behind the airport security screening area\nfor members of the public to express breast milk in private that meets\nthe following conditions:\n (a) includes, at a minimum, a chair and an electrical outlet;\n (b) is located outside of the confines of a public restroom; and\n (c) upon completion of the construction of a new passenger terminal,\nor the replacement, expansion, or renovation of an existing passenger\nterminal, includes a sink.\n 2. The terminal operator of a commercial service airport owned or\noperated by a county, city, town, village, or state or local authority\nthat has fewer than one million, but more than ten thousand enplanements\na year shall, upon completion of the construction of a new passenger\nterminal, or the replacement, expansion, or renovation of an existing\npassenger terminal, provide a room or other location at each airport\npassenger terminal behind the airport security screening area for\nmembers of the public to express breast milk in private that meets the\nfollowing conditions:\n (a) includes, at a minimum, a chair, a sink, and an electrical outlet;\nand\n (b) is located outside of the confines of a public restroom.\n 3. As used in this section, "renovation of an existing passenger\nterminal" means the repurposing of more than twenty-five percent of the\nspace in the passenger terminal.\n
