§ 2423. Cancer institute; administration of gifts and trusts. The\ncommissioner, as the successor of the board of trustees of the state\ninstitute for the study of malignant diseases, shall execute and\nadminister any gifts, transfer or trust heretofore made to or for the\nbenefit of such institute and may receive gifts, legacies and bequests,\nand use the same for the advancement of the subjects and purposes of the\ninstitute.\n
