* § 608. Funding allocation and distribution.
1.Subject to\nappropriation, funding shall be allocated by the commissioner in each\ncounty except for those counties located within the city of New York,\nthe initial allocation shall be in proportion to the number of\nhouseholds in each county or the city of New York who are severely rent\nburdened based on data published by the United States census bureau.\nFunding for counties located within the city of New York shall be\nallocated directly to the New York city department of housing\npreservation and development and/or the New York city housing authority,\nas appropriate, in proportion to the number of households in New York\ncity as compared to the rest of the state of New York who are severely\nrent burdened based on data published by
