§ 919. Separability. If any clause, sentence, paragraph, section, or\npart of this title shall be adjudged by any court of competent\njurisdiction to be invalid, such judgment shall not affect, impair or\ninvalidate the remainder thereof, but shall be confined in its operation\nto the clause, sentence, paragraph, section, or part thereof involved in\nthe controversy in which such judgment shall have been rendered.\n
