* § 2053. Broome county sports center authority. A board to be known\nas "Broome county sports center authority" is hereby created. The board\nshall be a body corporate and politic constituting a public benefit\ncorporation, and its existence shall commence upon the appointment of\nthe members as herein provided. It shall consist of a chairman and four\nother members, all of whom shall be appointed by the local legislative\nbody of Broome county. The appointment of a chairman shall be for a term\nof six years, and of the other four members, two for a term of two\nyears, and two for a term of four years, respectively, from the first\nday of September, nineteen hundred sixty-eight. At the expiration of\nsuch terms the terms of office of their successors shall be six years.\nEach member sha
