* § 203. Purpose and duty of the authority. The purpose and duty of\nthe authority is to acquire land in the town of Oyster Bay, Nassau\ncounty, and in the towns of Huntington and Babylon, Suffolk county, and\nto develop, improve, embellish, maintain and operate such land as a\npublic park and public recreation center, and to charge fees for\nadmission thereto and the use thereof sufficient with other revenues to\nmeet its expenses and pay all debts contracted by it, and the authority\nshall have power to do all things necessary or convenient to carry out\nsuch purpose and duty in addition to the express powers conferred in\nthis title.\n * NB (Abolished in 1975)\n
