§ 1949-g. Transfer of officers and employees.
1.In accordance with\nthe provisions of section seventy of the civil service law, any officer\nor employee of the city, may, at the request of the authority and with\nthe consent of the mayor of the city, be transferred to the authority\nand shall be eligible for such transfer and appointment, without further\nexamination, to applicable offices, positions and employment under the\nauthority. Any such officers or employees so transferred to the\nauthority pursuant to this section, who are members of or benefit under\nany existing pension or retirement fund or system, shall continue to\nhave all rights, privileges, obligations and status with respect to such\nfund or system as are now prescribed by law, but during the period of\ntheir employme
