* § 161. Bonds to be tax exempt. The bonds shall be exempt from\ntaxation except for transfer and estate taxes. This section shall apply\nonly to bonds issued before January first, nineteen hundred thirty-nine.\nNothing in this section shall be construed to repeal any tax exemption\ngranted by general law.\n * NB (Authority abolished June 30, 1978)\n
