* § 1470-b. City of Rome parking authority. A board to be known as\n"City of Rome parking authority" is hereby created. Such board shall be\na body corporate and politic constituting a public benefit corporation,\nand its existence shall commence upon the appointment of the members as\nherein provided. It shall consist of five members appointed by the mayor\nwith the approval of the common council. The appointment of the chairman\nshall be made by the mayor for a term of five years. Of the other\nmembers first appointed, one shall be appointed for a period of one\nyear, one for a period of two years, one for a period of three years,\nand one for a period of four years.
