§ 1344. Interest of members or employees of authority in contracts\nprohibited. It shall be a misdemeanor for a member of the authority or\nan officer, agent, servant or employee employed by or appointed by the\nauthority, to be in any way or manner interested, directly or\nindirectly, as principal, surety or otherwise, in a contract, the\nexpense or consideration whereof is payable out of the funds of the\nauthority.\n
