§ 1276-d. Independent audit by the legislature. After the submission\nof the annual independent audit report to the legislature pursuant to\nsection two thousand eight hundred two of this chapter, and after review\nof such report, the temporary president of the senate and the speaker of\nthe assembly may commission an auditing firm, every two years, after the\nyear two thousand nine, to conduct an independent audit of the\nauthority, including its subsidiaries. The temporary president of the\nsenate and the speaker of the assembly shall set the scope of such\naudit, and determine the terms of the request for proposal for such\naudit. Such audit shall be performed for the year two thousand nine. The\nauthority shall fully cooperate with and assist in such an audit.\n
