§ 1230-v. Code of ethics.

1.As used in this section the term\n"employee" shall mean any member, officer, agent or employee of the\nauthority or the water board.\n 2. No employee shall have any interest financial or otherwise, direct\nor indirect, or engage in any business or transaction or professional\nactivity or incur any obligation of any nature, which is in substantial\nconflict with the proper discharge of his or her duties in the public\ninterest.\n 3. Standards for such code of ethics shall be as follows:\n (a) No employee shall accept other employment which will impair his or\nher independence of judgment in the exercise of his or her official\nduties.\n (b) No employee shall accept employment or engage in any business or\nprofessional activity which will require the employ
