§ 1230-s. Exemption from taxes, assessments and certain fees.

1.It is\nhereby determined that the creation of the authority and the water board\nand the carrying out of its corporate purposes is in all respects for\nthe benefit of the people of the city and any municipality in the\nservice area and is a public purpose, and the authority and the water\nboard shall be regarded as performing governmental functions in the\nexercise of the powers conferred upon each by this title, and the\nauthority and the water board shall not be required to pay any fees,\ntaxes, special ad valorem levies or assessments, whether state or local,\nincluding but not limited to fees, taxes, special ad valorem levies or\nassessments on real property, franchise taxes, sales taxes or other\nexcise taxes, upon any
