§ 9.07 Acquisition of property. The commission shall have the power to\nacquire property for park and recreation purposes within the eighth park\nregion, with the approval of the commissioner, in the same manner and to\nthe same extent as provided for acquisitions by the commissioner under\nsections 3.17 and 3.19 of this chapter. Title to any real property so\nacquired shall be taken in the name of the commission. Title of, and\njurisdiction and control over any real property so acquired shall be\nvested in the commission in the same manner as for real property\npresently owned by it, unless otherwise provided by law. Nothing herein\ncontained shall be construed to affect the rights of the state of New\nYork in any property heretofore acquired by the commission.\n
