§ 610. Selection of inspectors at meetings of members; duties.\n (a) If the by-laws require inspectors at any meeting of members, such\nrequirement is waived unless compliance therewith is requested by a\nmember present in person or by proxy and entitled to vote at such\nmeeting. Unless otherwise provided in the by-laws, the board, in advance\nof any meeting of members, may appoint one or more inspectors to act at\nthe meeting or any adjournment thereof. If inspectors are not so\nappointed, the person presiding at a meeting of members may, and on the\nrequest of any member entitled to vote thereat shall, appoint one or\nmore inspectors. In case any person appointed fails to appear or act,\nthe vacancy may be filled by appointment made by the board in advance of\nthe meeting or at the meet
