§ 12 — Inspector; qualifications
§ 12. Inspector; qualifications. The commissioner may appoint an\ninspector or inspectors, who shall have a practical knowledge of the\nconstruction, equipment and management of vessels and who shall possess\nsuch experience and qualifications as required to carry out and fulfill\nthe duties of inspector indicated in this chapter and specifically\ndefined in section thirteen hereof and as may be determined by the New\nYork state civil service department.\n
