§ 112. Appendages for rope ferries. Any person licensed to keep a\nferry may, with the written consent of the town superintendent of the\ntown where such ferry may be, erect and maintain within the limits of\nthe highway, at such point as shall be designated in such consent, a\npost or posts, with all necessary braces and appendages for a rope\nferry.\n
