§ 282. Gas jets and other lights. All gas jets and other lights in\nfactories shall be properly enclosed by globes or wire cages or shall be\notherwise properly protected in a manner approved in the city of New\nYork by the fire commissioner of such city and elsewhere by the\ncommissioner.\n
