§ 219-A — Affirmation in lieu of oath

§ 219-a. Affirmation in lieu of oath. Notwithstanding any other\nprovision of law, any application for a license, permit, registration,\ncertificate or notification required by law to be filed with the\ndepartment may, in lieu of being acknowledged or sworn to under oath, be\nsubscribed by the applicant and affirmed by him or her as true under\npenalties of perjury.\n
