§ 200-a. Laws to be posted at airports. An airport, as defined in\nsection two hundred forty of the general business law, shall permanently\nand prominently post signs indicating the increased penalties for\ninterference with security personnel under 49 USC 46503. Such signs\nshall state an individual in an area within a commercial service airport\nin the United States who, by assaulting or intimidating a federal,\nairport, or air carrier employee who has security duties within the\nairport, interferes with the performance of the duties of the employee\nor lessens the ability of the employee to perform those duties, shall be\nfined under title 18 of the United States code, imprisoned for not more\nthan ten years, or both.
