§ 40. Definitions. For the purposes of this article the following\nterms have the following meanings:\n 1. "Commission" means the state commission on judicial conduct.\n 2. "Judge" means a judge or justice of any court of the unified court\nsystem.\n 3. "Hearing" means a proceeding under subdivision four of section\nforty-four of this article.\n 4. "Member of the bar" means a person admitted to the practice of law\nin this state for at least five years.\n
